These wars saw the destruction of cities, the rise of powerful villains, and the death of various characters. They changed Azeroth’s path and brought Cans to where she is today.

The first and second wars were covered during Warcraft: Orcs & Humans And the Warcraft 2: Tide of Darkness. The beginning of the third Warcraft war

Several years after the defeat of the Horde led by Nirzul Warcraft 2: Beyond the Dark Portal, A new war began to take shape. Ner’zhul’s soul was tortured and encased in a suit of armor by the demonic master Kil’jaeden. He then sent Ner’zhul’s armored spirit to Azeroth to sit on the frozen throne, giving birth to the first Lich King and leading to the first major player in the Third War. The crisis started quickly.

The events of the third war are shown in Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos, And start with the Orc Warchief Thrall. Thrall receives a vision of an unknown prophet who tells him that he must move his new horde to Kalimdor to escape the coming destruction. Thrall trusts the prophet and gathers his horde, fights through Deron’s forces and sails west to freedom. He hopes to find a home for his crowd away from the Alliance, a place where they can be safe.

Arthas descent into evil

In Lorderon, rumors began to circulate about a plague that was infecting the northern lands, but the army was busy dealing with the horde’s escape to Kalimdor. The prophet appeared again, this time before King Tyrinas, and told him that he must also flee west. However, Terenas proved to be a stubborn man and declared that he would defend his kingdom. He commissioned his son Arthas Menethil to investigate the North alongside Paladin Sir Uther the Lightbringer and Jaina Proudmoore of Kirin Tor.

The trio reached the city of Endorhall where they discovered that the pills had been struck by a plague, and the humans had been turned into undead monsters. Soon they set to work fighting across the affected city, destroying grain and hunting the responsible necromancer: Kalthozad. Once captured the necromancer tells them he is just a pawn, the real power comes from a gentle lord named Mal’Ganis. Therefore, Arthas killed Kel’Thuzad and vowed to hunt down Mal’Ganis.

After fighting several infected, they reach Stratholmy, where they discover that infected grain has already been distributed to the townspeople. Arthas ordered Uther and his companions to destroy the city and kill everyone inside it. Uther panicked and refused, so Arthas disbanded Uther’s Knights of the Silver Hand and took anyone still loyal to him to massacre the city.

Arthas continued this quest to cull every infected city he could find before he set his sights on finding the powerful fallen Frostmourne, with the help of the dwarf Muradin Bronzebeard. Together they find the blade and Arthas leads an attack on Scourge’s base, killing Mal’Ganis. Months after his victory over Mal’Ganis, Arthas returns home and kills his father, King Terenas. He crowned himself king of Lordaron and gave the land to the country. Arthas is gone and replaced by a doll from the Lich King.

Arthas went on a crusade after killing his father, his main task being to bring back Kel’Thuzad and take the place of the Lich King. He killed Uther and walked to the capital of the Elf High Silvermon. There he met Sylvanas Wanderer, who killed him and raised him as the first Banshee. Scourge slayed the High Elves and the Arthas used their source of power, Sunwell, to revive Kel’Thuzad. Then Arthas walked to Dalaran, obtained the Book of Medivh, and summoned Archimonde and The Burning Legion to Azeroth. The Burning Legion set its sights on the World Tree of Nordrasil, and the citizens of Azerworth launched a defense.

Elf and Night Orc Conflict in Kalimdor

In Kalimdor, the Thrall Horde were having their own troubles. Arriving in Kalimdor they recruit Tauren to their cause and leave the Orcish Warsong Clan to build a settlement in the land of Ashenvale. The Night Elves and their man, Scenarios, did not deal kindly with this and attacked them. The Warsong Clan’s leader, Grum Hillscream, drank Lord Manoroth’s blood, giving him tremendous power to kill the Scenarios, but tied his clan to the Legion.

Jaina Proudmoore allied with Thrall to help him break The Burning Legion’s control of the Warsong clan. Together, under the direction of the unknown prophet, they captured Grom Hellscream. Thrall and Jenna cleanse Grum’s soul of demonic contamination, pulling him out of the Legion’s control. Then, Thrall and Grom challenged and destroyed Manoroth, freeing the Orcs from control. Grom Hellscream lost his life in the process, but his people were free.

The final battle of the third war

Tyrande Whisperwind, leader of the Night Elves, reawakens the sleeping Elf Druids – including Malfurion Stormrage – and frees Malfurion’s brother Illidan from prison. Illidan specializes in killing demons, and he encounters Arthas, who tells him about a powerful artifact called the Skull of Gul’dan. Illidan takes Arthas’ bait and goes to find the skull, which he eats and gains tremendous power to kill Tichondrius, the leader of the lords. Doing so helped end the Legion’s defeat, but also corrupted Ilidan into a demonic/night elf hybrid.

The final battle of the third war is set as the humans create an uneasy alliance under the supervision of the Prophet, who reveals himself as the spirit of Medivh. A great battle, known as the Battle of Mount Hegal, ensued, and the power of the World Tree and Malfurion’s ancestral spirits were used to destroy Archmond and his legion in a massive explosion. The humans were victorious, but the World Tree was destroyed and the Night Elves lost their immortality.

Thus, the Third Azeroth War ended and peace prevailed. However, the fans Cans Know that peace does not last forever in Azeroth, and that the forces will rise again in various world of cans expansions. However, for now, the citizens of Azeroth can rest and world of cansShe could have a moment of peace.
