Q. How can I change my profile name?

A. Tap the “More” tab > Select your profile at the top > Where your name is displayed, press the pencil icon > Enter your preferred name > Press “Save“.

Q. I think someone has hacked my account. What can I do?

A. This is very serious. Please raise a ticket here while providing a link to your account and reasons why you feel it was hacked. Your issue will be taken on priority and solved as soon as possible.

Q. How to create a game.tv account?

A. Launch the app > Select “Google“, “Twitter” or “Phone Number” options > For Google and Twitter, you’ll be asked to sign in to your existing IDs or create one if you haven’t. For Phone Numbers, after entering them, you’ll be asked to verify with an OTP sent to that number. Then just follow the instructions on the screen to create your account.

Q. Can I recover my account after I’ve deleted it before?

A. No, this is not possible. We provide multiple checks and confirmations to ensure you do not accidentally delete it. There are also warnings stating that you will not be able to retrieve your account once deleted. In case you lost access or cannot go to your account, then raise a ticket with us.

Q. I have a Google-linked game.tv account. When I log out of game.tv and try to log in again through a different Google account, I’m not able to. What can I do?

A. Thank you for reporting this issue. It has been fixed in our latest update. So please get this latest version to be able to log in and out of different Google accounts.

Q. OTP Login is not working. What do I do?

A. You can login via Twitter or Google options as well. However if that does not work, or you already have an account linked to your phone number, raise a ticket with your username and we’ll get you reconnected in no time.

Q. Can we link our app account with the Discord account? A. Currently, we do not support multi-account linkage. The two are separate and will be for the time being.

Q. Unable to login into my game.tv account. What do I do?

A. Raise a ticket with us. We’ll help you get your account back.

Q. Can I use the same account for Web app and Mobile version login?

A. This is currently not possible. You’ll have to create separate accounts for each.

Q. What happens if I forgot my login Password (Google/Twitter)? A. You’ll have to head to their respective “Forgot Password?” links below their login screen. Or head to these respective links – Google and Twitter.

Q. How can I change the Google/Twitter/OTP account linked to my profile? A. This is not possible. Just like in other apps and programs, once your account is linked, it cannot be changed to another. You’ll have to logout and create a new account.

Q. How can I delete my account?

A. We don’t recommend this as once we execute it, you can never recover your account again and lose all your progress. However if you still want to go ahead, refer to this guide for help.

Q. How can I change my account password (Google/Twitter/Apple)?

A. As our app uses Google, Twitter or Apple account integration to create game.tv accounts, you can change your password by heading to their respective sites: a. Google b. Twitter c. Apple

Q. Is it possible to change the login number I get my OTP on? A. No, this is not possible as the number is linked to your game.tv account. Using a new number will create a new account.

Q. Can I login to game.tv using Facebook?

A. This login option is currently not present. We only offer login through Google, Twitter, Apple ID (only for Apple devices) and Phone Number.
