The Hungarian site BlackRavens has discovered what may be the first known Card Game reward -- a rideable turtle mount! No word yet as to if this mount will actually increase your movement speed or even be slower than walking. You better hope that you have a carrot on a stick to entice him to move a bit faster.
It appears that the initial tip-off came from a spell posted on Thottbot, Create Upperdeck Turtle Mount. Upper Deck is the company making the trading card game based on World of Warcraft. As we've reported earlier, the card game will include rewards that give you cosmetic upgrades in the online World of Warcraft game.
Update: You can now buy the loot card that gives you the turtle mount from ToyWiz.

Gammilinerf on the WoW forum had the idea that it might be the first water-based mount. Finally something for all of us that aren't Druids. :)
As if WOW isn't enough of a cash cow already...
That doesn't look like scale for a mount. Oh and yes, WoW is a cash cow, and wouldn't you milk it if you were running it....

buy it from Toybiz eh? not for $200.00! maby $2.00
anonymous, looking at recently completed ebay auctions, the mount is selling for over $150. Buying from a store (such as Toyhiz), rather than ebay, costs a bit more because you have more assurance that the card is legit and also get better customer service.

If the mount had cost like 10$. I probably would have bought it.. but Not for 200$

the mount doesn't even give you a speed bonus!
