October 25 Release Date - Wednesday, May 17, 2006

Upper Deck plans on releasing the Warcraft TCG on October 25, 2006. The Heroes of Azeroth cards will allow players to play one-on-one against each other. They will also release limited-edition raid decks sometime in November. The raid decks will allow a group of players to play against a single player who will assume the role of a raid boss. One example raid deck for Onyxia is composed of 66 game cards. Included in the raid deck will also be a 10 card treasure pack and 1 epic card. The treasure pack is intended to be somehow given out to groups that can defeat Onyxia. [via ICv2]
